The Detecto Model 6855 Scale is specifically designed for obese and unsteady patients. This large capacity scale is heavy duty, yet light weight and easy to transport, even through small door ways. In addition to the rugged, stainless steel handrails patients appreciate the security of the large, yet low-set profile weighing platform. The weighing platform is rigid, which provides reassurance to patients while stepping on and off the scale. The LCD weight display can be rotated to virtually any position for easy viewing. Weight is automatically locked in when stabilized. The scale operates on six "C" size alkaline batteries (incl. and an optional power adapter for long-term. Weigh capacity is 600 lbs in 0.5 increments. Display is 4 digits, 0.7" high, 7 segments. Auto power off. Platform measures 14"x18" with non-slip rubber mat. Net weight 45 lbs.
